Yoga Teacher Training in Multiple styles
Develop your own personal asana, pranayama, meditation practice & learn teaching skills with the art of hands on adjustments
- Creation and organisation of lesson plans; how to cue students in different asanas, transitions, and techniques
- Teaching practice in Ashtanga & Hatha vinyasa styles, methods of teaching, and training others; give safe hands-on adjustments, learn to use your voice, discover the business of yoga
- Functional anatomy, study of the body and movement, how to give modifications
- Receive your Trainer Pro certification with Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK & International)
- Access to herbal steam ice bath & swimming pool
- Enjoy x2 meals per day at our jungle cafe. Breakfast & Lunch plus Friday 7pm Indian buffet
Training Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 7.30am Mysore-style Ashtanga class
Breakfast
Week 1 – 10.15am philosophy & history of yoga
week 2 – lesson planning, voice training, jungle walk
week 3 – anotomy
week 4/5 – Teaching practice and Practicum
11.30am week 1 -pranayama breath work & meditation techniques
week 2/3/4 – learn the skill of offering clear verbal instructions and hands on adjustments
12.30 week 1 – chanting Sanskrit
week 2/3/4 – pranayama meditation
1pm Lunch break
3pm asana clinic, alignment & chanting
4pm hatha/vinyasa class, herbal steam and ice bath
Saturday: 8.30am Led Ashtanga Class followed by breakfast Chanting, Anatomy, teaching practice. 4pm Hatha & meditation
Sunday: rest day as per the tradition of Ashtanga yoga, self study day, worksheet to complete
